A violent attack at the Peal Street Mall in Boulder, Colorado has left multiple victims injured, according to local authorities. Police responded to reports of an active assault at the shopping center around 3:45 p.m. local time, with witnesses describing chaotic scenes as shoppers fled the area.

Boulder Police Chief Maris Herold confirmed officers have one suspect in custody and are working to determine if others were involved.
